About the Project
Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey, also called “Old Monongahela Rye” wasn’t just any old liquor. In many ways this liquor was the drink that made America. It was the liquor at the center of the infamous Whiskey Rebellion, the way farmers kept food on their tables, and ultimately a piece of history in liquid form.
The Purpose of this blog is to collect and share as much information as possible about the topic and teach people about the history of Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey. It is likely going to culminate into the release of a book or documentary on the subject.
At this site you’ll find information on the past, present, and future of the spirit in Pennsylvania. This will be in the form of historical information, reviews of current rye offerings, and much more. Can’t wait to get this site up and running to it’s potential.
